Citreon DS3 Full Valet

Heres my very own Citreon DS3 receiving one of my Full Valet Packages

To start the car was covered in citrus wash all purpose cleaner to loosen and break down the road grime that had built up on the car.

Before rinsing, an Iron Fallout remover was used on the wheels to break down the brake dust that collects on the alloy surface.

Both products were then rinsed off and a 2 Bucket method shampoo wash was used on the body work (rinse bucket was filling with water when the picture was taken), At the same time I also used Autobrite Direct Britegel cleaner on the wheels and tyres to ensure all surfaces were clean.

Ok so now to rinse the bodywork and wheels again to remove the shampoo and britegel, while the car is still wet a quick wax and drying aid was applied to the car (no picture sorry!),

time to dry the car, this was done using an Autobrite Direct Hellshine Reaper towel, all bodywork panels and glass were dried ready for the decontamination stage.

Before polish could be applied the paint had to be de-tarred, this was done using Just The Tonic tar and glue remover and then a clay bar was used to remove any bonded contaminants from the paint surface.

Next step was to apply the polish, the polish I chose was Autobrite Direct Brilliance and this was applied using a German Applicator pad, Brilliance was applied and left to cure for around 15-20 minutes before buffing off with a microfibre towel.

Next step was to apply the paint sealant, the product for this job was Autobrite Direct Seal and Protect, again this was applied using another German Applicator pad, left to cure for 15 minutes then buffed off with a microfibre towel.

Although being a brand new car (65 reg) I wanted to add even more of a shine so I used a quick detailer spray, this product was Autobrite Direct Elegance, all this took was a quick spray on each panel and a microfibre towel to spread and buff off leaving an immaculate showroom shine.

So.. with the bulk of the work done it was time to get the chrome strips gleaming and nice and shiny, Autobrite Direct Metal worx was the job for this task and heres the results … I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Last but not least for the outside was to dress the tyres, they looked a bit dull and tired so using Autobrite Direct Endurance was guaranteed to get them looking new again.

Now time for the inside….

The door shuts and kick plates were looking very grubby so using citrus wash all purpose cleaner and a detailing brush to agitate the dirt did just the trick. A microfibre towel was used to wipe away the dirt to leave a lovely gleaming surface, the same was repeated on all the kick plates and plastics on the seat, in the footwell and around the centre console.

The dashboard needed a dust and being shiny, it needed something to bring out the shine…… this is where once again Autobrite Direct Elegance comes in.

Used in a slightly different way by applying to a microfibre cloth and used to spread around the dashboard really gives it an amazing gloss look.

Last but not least the matts were hoovered and given a quick clean using Autobrite Direct Fab interior cleaner and the rubber footplate and pedals were cleaned using Citrus Wash.
